Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about the game, the data, and how runs are scored.
Is this an official EuroLeague game?
No. It is an independent fan project by Arche Digital, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by EuroLeague, Euroleague Basketball, or any club.
Is it free?
Yes. Drafting, running the gauntlet, and the leaderboard are all free. The game is supported by advertising.
Why does the draw only give me one club and season?
Because the challenge is to build the best five from real rosters. Each slot lands on one club-season and you may only pick a player who actually played there that year — it is a test of recall, not a blank-page dream team.
What is PIR?
Performance Index Rating — EuroLeague's single-number box-score summary. Positive actions (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks) minus negative ones (missed shots, turnovers, fouls). It is a shorthand for a player's overall impact.
How is difficulty set?
Each bracket round has a rising difficulty, and your win chance each game is your team rating against that difficulty. It climbs through the playoffs and the Final Four, which is why going undefeated is rare even for a strong five.
What is Make the Playoffs?
A mode that draws only from the underdogs — players whose peak PIR was under 10. It is a deliberately weaker board where simply qualifying for the playoffs is the goal.
When does the Monthly challenge reset?
At the start of each calendar month. Everyone plays the same fixed board that month, one entry per player, and the monthly leaderboard resets with it.
What happened to my old scores?
Runs from the previous, decade-bucket version of the game are preserved on a separate Legacy leaderboard. The current game starts everyone fresh; nothing was deleted.
Can I play against a friend?
Head-to-head drafting is on the way. Friend matches — share a code and draft against each other — come first, with random online matchmaking after.
